The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation supports the Saptak Annual Festival, a platform for students to showcase their work and appreciate Indian classical music. Held between January 1st and 13th every year, this music festival is a connoisseur’s delight. This platform is offered to both emerging talent and renowned performers of Indian classical music. Considered as a celebration of music in its purest form, the festival invites aficionados to grace the event and encourage new artistes.
To provide artistes with a common platform to come together, to facilitate their talent, and to present diverse forms of Indian music to the audience.
The support rendered by the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation results in an unparalleled experience, with nearly 125 top artistes and music lovers from all over the world coming together to witness 50 performances spread over 13 days.
SAPTAK is an Ahmedabad-based organisation that works towards promoting Indian music and tradition and creating a global community of Indian classical music rasikas. Without any intention of commercialising music, the institution has developed a supportive network, which backs its initiatives without overshadowing its unique spirit and style of functioning.
