Clinical Fellowship

Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation has established a Fellowship programme at the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) and Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar Head and Neck Cancer Institute of India (HNCII) in Mumbai for training young doctors in the field of head and neck oncology. The foundation so far has enabled the training of more than 120 head and neck surgeons and medical oncologists under the guidance of senior oncology specialists in the field.

Community Interventions

Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is supporting various initiatives for early detection, treatment and management of oral, breast and cervical cancer through capacity building and establishing referral mechanisms. Community volunteers and frontline health workers have been trained in cancer screening by experts.

Project: Interventions for screening women’s reproductive tract infections (RTI), sexually transmitted infections (STI), cervical cancer etc. in rural areas of Pune.

Project: Capacity building of service providers in the prevention, early detection and management of oral, breast and cervical cancer in Mumbai, Thane, Solapur and Pune.
