Learning Resource Centre

Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is supporting the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health India Research Center (an office of Harvard Global Research Support Centre India). The Center is designed to facilitate the development of new strategic relationships and build on existing ones with organizations across India. It provides logistical support for it’s strategic goals of research, training, and knowledge translation and communication.

Key Past Projects

Project: Promoting Social Accountability for Improved Nutrition and Food Security” project to prevent malnutrition in 6 districts of Maharashtra implemented by a consortium of 6 civil society organisations.

Project: Supported a community rehabilitation programme and advocacy efforts to create an enabling environment for children with special needs in New Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Location: New Delhi, Ahmedabad

Project: Infrastructure support to various Eye Hospitals for improving diagnosis and treatment facilities: Aravind Eye Care Systems, Madurai and Coimbatore; Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai; L V Prasad Eye Care, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar; Municipal Eye Hospital, Mumbai.

Project: Infrastructure support to Government and municipal hospitals in Mumbai to:

Organization: - Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals to secure ISO Certification
- Nagpada Police Hospital for “Obesity, Lifestyle and Cardiac Disorder Programme” for Police personnel
- The Department of ENT & Head and Neck Surgery at the BYL Nair Charitable Hospital & TN Medical College
- King Edward Memorial Hospital for setting up the first-ever liver transplant facility in a public hospital
