The scholarship was announced by Mr. Narotam Sekhsaria at the Silver Jubilee function of the Ambuja School in Kodinar, Gujarat. This merit-based scholarship is awarded to the top ten students from Class XII in schools managed by Ambuja Cement. It covers the entire duration of the undergraduate programme, as long as students continue to fulfil a required set of criteria.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Silver Jubilee Scholarship was instituted in 2011 and granted to the Top 10 students passing their XII grade from Ambuja Schools across India. The scholarship aims to encourage the students to pursue degree or professional courses in various institutes after school studies and is based on merit and academic excellence achieved by the students. The scholarship has been offered to 89 students since inception.
